I'm Pedro, a Spanish artist who graduated in Fine Arts from Seville University.
I spent two years in Joso Comic School of Barcelona after studying in Seville, where I specialized in digital illustration and comics.
My work is published in magazines (Man of the World issue n° 10), books (La Historia de Iqbal, SM editorial) comic fanzines and newspapers. I have been awarded in several art contests, have participated in several group exhibitions and was interviewed for the Spanish comic documentary “Vivir para Dibujar, Dibujar para Vivir”.
I love color and it´s power to simulate different feelings and emotions.
I also like it for lighting and for creating volume. I try to make each project I do tell a story, for my images to tell and express something - The composition, the use of light and the character interpretation are in my opinion crucial for creating good drawings.
Character Design is another aspect that interests me greatly, creating a good design (physically and psychologically) allows us to empathize more with the public and makes our product (whatever it be a comic, illustration, cover, book, cd, video game, etc.) more attractive.
Currently I'm working as a freelance illustrator and a personal comic project.
